32-Hour Backflow Certification / Recertification

The Maryland State Board of Plumbing requires the successful completion of an approved 32-Hour Backflow Training Course as a pre-requisite for the Journey/Master Plumber examination.
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID APPRENTICE, JOURNEY OR MASTER MD STATE PLUMBING LICENSE TO REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SUBMIT A COPY OF THIS LICENSE BEFORE BEING REGISTERED FOR THE CLASS.


Electrical Journey/Master Prep Course

Supplementary knowledge and on-the-job training are placed into practical sense and understanding of the current electrical codes. This class will provide intensive study of the Following:
• Quizzes & Practice exams • Test Taking Skills. • Journey Person & Master Application Assistance • Related trade math. • National Electrical Code version specified by PSI

Maryland dictates that anyone who constructs, alters, replaces and/or repairs plumbing shall complete the requirements and be licensed as a Journey Person’s.


Plumbing Exam Prep Course

This course is designed to prepare you for the master/journey person’s Plumbing/Gasfitting Exams.
Supplementary knowledge and on-the-job training are placed into practical sense and understanding of the current plumbing codes. This class will provide intensive study of the International Plumbing Code and International Gas Code.


HVACR Licensing Prep Course

This course is designed to prepare you for the master and/or journeyperson’s exam, whether it is the FULL HVAC/R License; or a Restricted license for SHEET METAL (Ventilation) or PIPEFITTING (Hydronics).


CFC Universal Exam Prep Course

The CFC Universal Exam Prep course teaches you the dates, terminology, rules, and regulations. This mandatory certification is necessary to be able to purchase and handle refrigerants.


Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors

The course offers prospective QC Managers/ Administrators the opportunity to satisfy the CQM-C training requirements specified in most USACE and NAVFAC construction contracts. This course must be taken and the final test must be passed by any person aspiring to be the QC Manager/Administrator or alternate. The course must be taken within 45 calendar days of the award of a construction contract.
